Devil s advocateKeanu Reeves and Al Pacino star in the 1997 thriller, "Devils Advocate". Keanue Reeves plays the role of a man name Kevin Lomax, who is a no-name lawyer from Gainesville, Florida. He is lured to New York City by a large law firm who has heard about Kevin's success as a lawyer in the state of Florida. Kevin and his beautiful wife Mary Anne, played by Charlize Theron, quickly move to Manhattan, lured by luxuries such as a gorgeous apartment and other paid expenses.
While I enjoyed the film immensely, I felt that its bizarreness was a little bit much. Typically I am interested in films which deal with attornies and/or the law. I feel that the parts of Kevin and Milton are played superbly by Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino. I especially enjoyed the section of the movie when Kevin discovers that Milton is his long-lost father. This adds a great deal of drama to the situation, something that is necessary in a film such as "Devil's Advocate".
