E.B. White�s essay, �Once More To The Lake,� is an enjoyable story full of detailed description and emotion. In the beginning, this author uses specific words and phrases to describe the setting, a camp at a lake in Maine that the main character used to visit when he was a young boy with his father. This part of the essay, ��this holy spot�the coves and streams, the hills that the sun set behind, the camps and the paths behind the camps�� allows the readers to picture this peaceful place in their minds.
